Kristine tackled the Bataan Memorial Death March in New Mexico in honor and to benefit Veterans of our great military. The Death March is a challenging march through the high desert terrain of White Sands Missle Range, conducted in honor of the heroic service members who defended the Philippine Islands during WWII.
Kristine after the adventure: “So it usually shouldn’t take 11:45 to finish a marathon distance. Sounds more like an IM… however. Was carrying a 37# pack, marching thru soft sand and mini gravel, elevation changes, and having injuries….but no whining here. .. was very emotional race n feel proud that I persevered!!!?
So proud of you Kristine!
