Brad was born in Mobile, Alabama as the youngest of two brothers and a sister. He moved to Raleigh, North Carolina at the age of 4 where he spent most of my childhood playing sports such as swimming, soccer, baseball, and lacrosse. He went to high school in Flower Mound, Texas, where continued swimming and playing soccer. He enlisted in the Coast Guard and was sent to a 210 foot boat out of Wilmington, North Carolina. He spent two years sailing around the Caribbean before going to Helicopter Rescue Swimmer School in the spring of 2005. Brad raced his first triathlon in 2005 in North Carolina. In the summer of 2009, he transferred to Airstation Houston. Brad currently resides in League City and trains a lot around the Clear Lake area. When he is not training for triathlons, Brad enjoys hiking, backpacking, camping, and playing beach volleyball.
