Raul grew up playing soccer in Caracas, Venezuela. He started racing triathlons in 2003 and has finished over 100 races, including 15+ Half Ironmans and 9 IRONMANS. Raul has finished IRONMAN Brasil, Florida, Coeur d’Alene, Arizona, Wisconsin, Cozumel, and Texas. He has also competed in numerous Adventure Races, Xterras, and Mountain Bike Races. Raul resides in the Woodlands with his wife and three sons.
