Congrats to Mandy Heintz for taking second overall in the GC for the Open Women’s Category (so P-1-2-3 and 4s!) at the Mineral Wells Stage rage. Mandy finished high in the crit, 2nd in the TT and first in the Road Race. Her Shama Cycles Teammates raced incredibly as well!! Way to go Mandy!

Great racing at the Livestrong Half Marathon this weekend by ORR Athletes! Kendall Zurbuchen 2:23:17, Agustina Foglietta Rayner ran 2:00:30, Coach Raul Luzardo 1:43:25, Andres Restrapo 1:47:36, Nico Restrapo 1:35:52, Liliana Hernandez 1:51:16. Coach Lisa A. Jaster ran the full marathon in 4:12:32! Way to go runners!!!

Congrats to Diane Hankee for finishing 2nd overall female at the Half Fast 1/2 Marathon in Minnesota this weekend! Diane ran 6:55 pace for a finishing time of 1:30:35. Diane will be coming South for IRONMAN Texas 70.3 and IRONMAN Texas!! Way to run Diane!

Congrats to Lauren Lewis and Scott (Michael) Wilkinson for fantastic racing at the South Midwest Regional Duathlon Championship! The Frost yer Fanny 2 mile run/15 mile bike/2 mile run race in Dallas served as this years’ Championship.

Scott barely missed first place by about 6 seconds! His splits were 4:58 min/mile on the first 2 mile run, 25.7 mph on the 15 mile bike, and 4:57 min/mile pace on the second 2 mile run! Lauren ran 6:17 pace, followed by 21.1mph on the bike, and 6:22 for her second run! Both athletes race on the Aggie Tri Club team, which took home the Collegiate Championship. Way to go you too!!!

Congrats to all the athletes who raced the Du the Polar Bear yesterday at Bear Branch Park in Houston, Texas! The 2 mile run, 15 mile bike, and 2 mile run race was the first local multi-sport event and was a great way to test how well the “winter training” is paying off.

OutRival Racing had a fantastic season opener with over 20 athletes racing, and over half of those doing their first-ever duathlon, including first-timers Ben Williams, Cheesy Zschesche, Elias Divo, Erica Gualt, Hannah Gault, Juan Pablo Barroso, Ken Ottenwalder, Leslie Clinchard, Luis Texier, Mark LeBlanc, and Shawn Kirk!

ORR secured 4 of the top 11 finishes for the Men’s Division as well as the top three overall in the Women’s Division!
