Zach is a senior at Sam Houston State University living in The Woodlands, TX. Injuries kept Zach from hitting peak potential in high school cross-country and track. Since then, he has been a student of triathlon along with his undergraduate studies. His success has been in sprint triathlons, but has recently begun taking on triathlon’s biggest challenge, Ironman. For the last two years, Zach has raced at the top of his age-group as well as finished as one of the top ovearll age-groupers in local races. He has been the second-best scoring 20 and 21 year old triathlete in Texas (USAT ranking) and looks to take the number one spot if Ironman Texas doesn’t kill him first!
