Congrats to three ORR athletes who raced the inaugural Texas Star Triathlon in the Woodlands last weekend. All three made podium finishes!
Seventeen year-old Connor Barry won his age group and finished second overall in the Sprint race! Connor swam 4:46 for 300 meters, biked 22 mph for 14 miles, and ran 6:53 min/mile pace for the 5K run. Connor's overall time was 1:06:05.
Jeffrey Kouts finished fourth place overall and first place in the 30-34AG with an overall time of 1:12:37. Jeffrey swam 5:44, biked 21mph, and ran 7:09 min/mile pace!
Don Harris finished second in the Clydesdales' Division with an overall time of 1:32:27. Don swam 6:12, biked 17.4mph, and ran 10:59 min/mile pace.
