Originally from Carthage, Texas, William grew up running track and cross country through high school and through college at East Texas Baptist University and the University of Texas at Tyler. After persuasion from Steve Farris and the East Texas Triathletes he shortly began to dabble in triathlons in 2007. William’s goal this year is to earn the pro card.
