Karen is an elite masters athlete, 11-time IRONMAN finisher and with a personal best of 9:42:53. In 2013 Karen ranked #1 in the world in the WTC IRONMAN Age Group Rankings for the IRONMAN and 70.3 distances. In 2014 the highlights of her season include 2 age group wins at Galveston 70.3 and Steelhead 70.3 and a 15th place at the IRONMAN World Championship in Kona, Hawaii. Karen has completed more than 100 running and triathlon races all over the world in the last twenty years and has won overall amateur titles, raced in numerous invitationals and has qualified for national and world championship races (including the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championships). She is a USAT All-American triathlete and uses several proven methods to coach both runners and triathletes of all ages. Karen and her family reside in The Woodlands, Texas.
