OutRival Racing is facilitating the second Annual "got 112?" Ride, an"open community cycling event" for anyone who wants to ride on the Ironman Texas bike course. The course will be marked with turn signs plus mile markers every 10 miles. This is more of a big "social ride," so there are no road closures. RIDE AT YOUR OWN RISK AND BE PREPARED TO BE SELF-SUFFICIENT.

  • Date: April 14th,wheels roll between 6:50 and 7:10. Will not be a mass start, roll when ready.
  • Where: Ride will leave the Woodlands United Methodist Church at Lake Woodlands and Grogan's Mill (very close to IMTX Transition). Address is 2200 Lake Woodlands Drive, Woodlands, TX,77380.
  • Who: Experienced riders capable of safely cycling on the IMTX 112 mile course.
  • Three Water/Ironman Perform Aid Stations will be provided where you can fill up your own bottles(so no bottle hand-ups). Please bring your own products just in case. One station will be at approximately mile 44, one with Special Needs at mile 64,and another one at mile 83 (Note: There will be Gatorade at mile 83 instead of Ironman Perform due to a low local supply). You can also stop in Richards or Dobbin for fueling.
  • Special NeedsPractice: You can drop off a "Special Needs" bag in a large bin at the start of the ride. These bags will be transported out near where Special Needs is located in IMTX (mile 64). The bags will be laid out for you to access. All bags will then be transported back to the start. Please do not put valuables in your bag.
  • 4 mile Brick Run:There will be a 2 mile out and 2 mile back marked run course for those wishing to do a "brick" run after your ride. The run will incorporate some of the IMTX run course. There will be a water/gel station at the mile marker. Look for the cones after your ride. Chase Banks of Banks Chiropractic will be providing post-ride drinks and sports' care at the start of the run route.
  • PLEASE RIDE ATYOUR OWN RISK! Please be prepared to be self-sufficient.
