The Coaching Staff of OutRival Racing accepts clients on an individual basis. Contact information for each coach can be found on the Coaches' page. The vision at OutRival Racing is to help each athlete reach his or her individual athletic goals. The ORR Group Training Sessions are open to all athletes coached either personally or in a group program. All group sessions are subject to change for personally coached athletes. Currently, we offer Tuesday evening run/track sessions, Sunday long runs, Saturday weekly bike sessions, and Monday/Friday Tri-Specific Swims at the Conroe Nat. Initial consultation is free. Level 1 Basic CoachingThe Basic Coaching package includes a detailed Training Plan customized to fit your schedule and fitness goals. It includes detailed scheduling on a monthly basis and uses Training Peaks to schedule and log workouts. It allows for monthly scheduling input and athlete monitoring. The Basic Coaching Package includes heart-rate and/or power-based training and includes continuous aerobic testing and lactate threshold field-testing. Communication is limited to one weekly email correspondence initiated by the athlete.
Level 2 Personal CoachingThe Personal Coaching package includes a detailed Training Plan customized to fit your schedule and fitness goals. It includes detailed scheduling on a weekly basis and uses Training Peaks to schedule and log workouts. It allows for weekly scheduling input and athlete monitoring. The Personal Coaching Package includes heart-rate and/or power-based training and includes continuous aerobic testing and lactate threshold field-testing. It includes unlimited contact via email and phone. Monday/Friday Tri-Specific Swims are included in Level 2.
Level 3 One-On-One CoachingThe One-On-One Coaching Package entails full-service coaching. It includes a detailed Training Plan in Training Peaks customized to fit your schedule and fitness goals. It includes continuous communication as well as two monthly one-on-one coached sessions of the athletes' choice. It includes detailed scheduling on a weekly basis and athlete monitoring on a daily basis. The One-on-One Coaching Package includes heart-rate and/or power-based training and includes continuous aerobic testing and lab-based lactate threshold testing. It includes continual communication via phone, email, and in-person. The One-on-One Coaching Package includes the utmost attention to detail, including sports nutritional analysis, equipment selection/modification, progressive technique/form analysis, video-tape analysis, open-water swimming, heart rate testing, mental race prep and more. Monday/Friday Tri-Specific Swims are included in Level 3.
