Veterans Day 10K

Veteran's Day is one of our nation's best holidays because it honors all of the soldiers who have fought and continue to fight for freedom. This inaugural Veterans Day 10K is one in a series of races. It was held in the Woodlands on Saturday, November 13th. All of the proceeds from this race go directly to raising funds for Wounded Veterans through Team Red White and Blue.

Three OutRival Racing athletes ran this race, and all three had fantastic results! Adam Currier finished third overall in his first-ever 10K race! Adam ran 39:08 which is 6:18 min per mile pace. Jacob Jones ran the 10K in 43:09, or 6:57 pace. Robert Nelson ran 48:42 which is 7:51 pace. Fast running for a great cause!

Additionally, there are currently five OutRival Racing athletes that have served in the United States Armed forces. Coach Lisa Jaster was an officer in the Army, Richard Tramm was a Marine, Kelley Golden was a Navy Nurse, Jesse Balboa was an officer in the Navy, and Rick Wilson was an officer in the Air Force. Thank you to the OutRival Racing athletes who have served our great country! We appreciate you!
