LeBlanc and Gause leave it all on the course in Kona
A sincere congratulations to Coach Michelle LeBlanc and Chris Gause. Both women raced Kona Ironman in Hawai'i at the World Championships on 13 Oct. Coach Michelle LeBlanc finished 19th overall amateur female and 8th in AG 35-39F. She swam 1:07:41, biked 5:27:25 and ran 3:38:58 with a splendid finish of 10:19:14!! Chris Gause AG 70-74F swam 2:02:12 add in a super fast 6:02 T1 then biked her heart out through some of the windiest, hilliest, hottest miles of her life. However, dehydration and heat exhaustion caused a small spill on the bike requiring medical to pull her from the course at mile 93. But, as the Ironman motto says..."Anything is Possible!" Well done, well done, ladies!! We're so proud of you both!
