Ironstar becomes OILMAN for 2011
The 9th Annual Oil Man Texas Triathlon (Formerly Iron Star Triathlon) is dubbed the ‘premier half Iron Distance triathlon’ in southeast Texas. With an estimated 500 participants, Oilman boasts a 1.2 mile swim in Lake Conroe, 56 mile bike in scenic Montgomery County, and then finishes with a 13.1 mile run from the newly renovated La Torretta Del Lago Resort on Lake Conroe. With unseasonably weather, OutRival Racing athletes took on the 'Half Iron' distance with great expectation and excitement for a late season challenge.
