Bio: Mariana is originally from beautiful Argentina and has been in the United States since 2002. Mariana has a mountaineering and running background. In 2005 she took on triathlon and did her first sprint distance race in Vermont. She moved on to the Olympic distance that same year and the following year,2006, she did her first Half Ironman race. During the next years she has focused on long distance triathlon competing in half and full Ironman distances.
Some of Mariana's best performances include the 2011 Cape Cod marathon (3:18), 2011 New Bedford Half Marathon (1:29), 2014 Pumpkinman Half (4:49) and 2014 IM Maryland (10:21).
Mariana is a Spanish Teacher and English-Spanish Translator/Interpreter. Mariana lives in Holyoke, MA
