Mariana was a Spanish teacher for 18 years until she decided to change careers a few years ago and became a Spanish translator and interpreter. After so many years of training under the guidance of QT2 Systems, Mariana decided to pursue a career as a coach and use her training and racing experience in helping athletes achieve their goals and be the best they can be.
Mariana has always loved sports. During her early 20’s she did mountaineering and running in her home country of Argentina. She reached the summits of mountains over 20,000 feet, including Aconcagua (23,000), the highest mountain in the Western Hemisphere. In 2002, after moving to the USA, she decided to train for marathons and half marathons and qualified for Boston several times. In 2005 she decided to give triathlon a go and fell in love with it. Since then, she has been focusing on long-distance triathlon. Mariana has completed races in all distances, including 11 Ironman races. She has also competed at the Ironman World Championship three times. Mariana firmly believes in QT2 and Outrival Racing protocols for training, racing, and nutrition. She will help you exceed your goals in triathlon while maintaining a balance with family and career obligations. Mariana lives in Springfield, Massachusetts.
