Chris comes from a competitive swimming background. An injury in college ended his athletic career for 8 years until he finally made a comeback with a masters program and a very humbling sprint distance triathlon.
Chris realized his potential in triathlon when he turned to QT2. With a training program tailored to his goals, needs and abilities with an emphasis on nutrition, Chris made significant gains and earned multiple podium finishes.
As a software engineer with a wife who is also a long distance QT2 triathlete, as well as two young sons, Chris understands the importance of balancing family, work and training. He wants to help other athletes realize that learning to become adaptable and viewing the season holistically will enable them to successfully balance all commitments.
Chris's engineering background gave him experience analyzing various types of data and finding solutions to complex issues. He uses these important skills to analyze athletes' training and race data to improve performance. Chris is looking forward to using his skills and life experiences, along with the knowledge he's gained of the QT2/ORR principles and methodologies, to help other athletes balance their life and training and achieve their goals.
